We currently have 30 mentors working with 250 Los Angeles urban teens.

Each mentor is involved with one of our four teen meetings weekly.  These meetings offer fun, a safe place to belong, and a chance to hear the Gospel of hope in a way that relates to their lives in the city.

Three of these meetings are for high school students, one is for middle school kids, and one is for teen mothers and their babies.  We are planning on starting a new middle school "club" for students at a school in Watts.

We took 80 teens and mentors to a weekend camp to Catalina Island this fall and 50 students to a week of summer camp.  We offer all camps for a discounted price. Getting away helps expand a teen's worldview beyond their city streets.

We have started up a leadership development program for a dozen college students, many who were former Youth First members.

Several small groups meet each week with mentors to discuss life and faith issues.
